Here's what some participants have said after experiencing "A Prayer to Wear"
Ellen Carlins is a miracle worker! She has done several workshops at Providence Villa in Gibsonia and her participants leave thrilled with their prayer bracelets. They treasure them because they represent the psalms or special prayers. Particularly, in one workshop, the Good Shepherd became a friend forever to one person who had no prior knowledge of the psalms. This person now has psalmody on her I-pad for daily prayer. I would recommend her highly to any group seeking a new form of contemplation and transformation.
Sister Joan Coultas CDP, Ph.D., Program Coordinator @ Kearns Spirituality Center "In his Rule, St Benedict encourages us to treat all things as vessels of the altar. You do that Ellen, because you reverence the beads as well as your participants. Bless you!" Sister Donna Wojtyna, OSB
Bless you Ellen, your "bracelet retreat" was wonderful! I feel a little closer to Jesus our friend and brother. Sister Dolores Conley, OSB

This activity was such a blessing to each woman who participated. One person indicated that just “playing with the beads” was relaxing and a different experience for her. We don’t take time to “play” as adults and using our creative brain with the spiritual exercise allowed a transformational experience in God’s Word.
